Storage Terms & Liability Policy

1. The service
We provide short-term luggage storage at our shop in central Lisbon. By booking you agree to these terms.
2. Bookings & payment
Storage is charged per bag, per day, prepaid online at the time of booking, plus a flat €1.90 booking & insurance fee per bag. Each started day of storage counts as one day. If you collect later than booked, additional days are charged at the same daily rate on collection.
3. Drop-off & collection
Bags may be dropped off and collected only during opening hours. Present your booking reference (or its QR code) at drop-off. Bags not collected within 30 days may be treated as abandoned and handled in accordance with applicable law.
4. Tag & card system
At drop-off, your bags are individually tagged and you receive a numbered tag card — your claim ticket, which must be presented at collection. If the card is lost, a €5 replacement fee applies (as printed on the card), and we will verify your booking by reference and email before releasing your bags.
5. Prohibited items
You may not store: perishable food; living things; illegal, dangerous, flammable or hazardous goods; weapons; cash, jewellery, or high-value items beyond ordinary travel belongings; or items prohibited by law. We may refuse any item at our discretion.
6. Customer responsibility for contents
You are responsible for ensuring that the items you store are lawful and suitable for storage. We do not verify the contents of bags unless security reasons require it, and you remain responsible for the contents of your bags at all times.
7. Care & liability
We store bags inside our staffed premises, tag each item, and photograph it on intake. Storage is insured up to the limit stated at booking or by our insurer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for loss or damage is limited to that insured amount, and we are not liable for prohibited or undeclared high-value items, or for normal wear or pre-existing damage. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellation is free with a full refund if requested before your scheduled drop-off time. After the scheduled drop-off time no refunds are given, including for no-shows or failure to arrive before closing. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Portugal, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Lisbon. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
